Figure Fixes

If anyone asks me which part of my body I like the least I point straight to my flabby upper arms!  After a short period of taking Mountjaro I was left with loose flabby skin here.

While weight training and exercise are making a difference, I’m still too self conscious to wear sleeveless clothes, but after a lot of experimenting I’m finding styles and shapes that work with my body not against it.

In this heat the last thing you want is to feel uncomfortable, so here are my top tips to keeping cool and feeling confident.

If you’re conscious of your upper arms, look for:

✅ Three-quarter length sleeves

✅ Sleeves that hit wider and lower on the arms

✅ Loose flutter sleeves that finish at your elbow

✅ Tops and dresses with v-neck to draw the eye down rather across your upper half

✅ Puff sleeves and shoulder details that are wider than your arms

✅ Lightweight linen or cotton shirts as a layer worn open over a vest.

Try not to wear :

❌ Tight sleeves

❌ Cap sleeves as they finish at the widest part of your arm.

So in summary to flatter and style your arms, focus on choosing the right sleeve lengths, embrace  fluid fabrics and draw attention to your shoulders and neck.
